You are invited to join the next Running The Race sports medicine missions trip to Iten, Kenya. If you are a sports medicine physician, PT, ATC, sports medicine fellow, resident or medical student with a heart for missions then this trip is for you.
THE MISSION
The team will focus on conducting sports medicine clinics for athletes in Iten and Eldoret. Team members will also lead sports medicine educational seminars for local healthcare providers and coaches.
Iten is the “Home of Champions” and has over 4000 elite athletes. The majority of these athletes have no access to sports medicine services. Some are just trying to survive or looking for a way to feed their families. You can help them by providing quality sports medicine care, spiritual and emotional support. It is a privilege to hear their stories, pray with them, and walk with them in the midst of a difficult reality.
