As we finalize our mission travel logistics for our January 2025 trip, pack our bags, and envision the days to come, Beth and I invite you to follow along with the entire Running The Race medical mission team in real time through blog entries while on site in Iten, Kenya. We will be serving the elite and professional running community from January 11-17 through clinical work, local hospital and school community for sports medicine education and demonstration, and lead fellowship scripture in the evenings. We may be finalizing travel but preparation and the anticipation of our hearts for God’s greater plan is continuous. He has provided this opportune path to Iten for each of us through our shared medical profession but He has very much placed this experience on each of our hearts for individual reason. We ask that as you follow along, that you pray for:
Safe travel and arrival for each team member coming from various regions of the US to Iten, Kenya.
Patience of our minds through 24+ hours of flight time and 1.5 days of travel.
Trust in His plan within the moments, the miles, and the people we meet on our journey to Africa.
Practice and faith in our (Beth’s) conquest to master the art of the Aeropress made espresso in order to successfully caffeinate our bodies for His work and our joy ☕️
